Photo sharing for graduation parties

The open house runs all afternoon, guests come and go, and every one of them leaves with photos you will never see. One QR code at the door keeps them.

The open-house problem

Graduation parties are drop-in: relatives at two, classmates at five, neighbours somewhere in between. Nobody is there for the whole afternoon, including you. Put the QR code on the front door, the gift table and the food table. Each guest scans once, shoots on their own phone, and every photo lands in one live album you can watch fill up during the party.

Nothing to install and no account: the camera opens in the phone’s browser. Anyone who cannot scan a code can type the 6-character event code at allshots.app/app instead.

Photos from the ceremony, too

The ceremony usually happens earlier, somewhere else, with phones held high over the crowd. Choose Gallery & preview when you create the event and guests can add photos from their camera roll as well as take new ones, so the walk across the stage and the party end up in the same album.

A card nobody has to remember to bring

On the Medium and Unlimited plans every guest can leave the graduate one written note (up to 240 characters) and one voice message (up to 60 seconds). You read the notes and download them as a PDF, and download all the voice messages as one ZIP.

Who sees what

With a shared album everyone who joined sees every photo, which is what classmates want. With a private album each guest sees only the photos they took, while you see all of them. You can delete any photo, and anything a guest reports is hidden straight away.

How AllShots works, in one minute

  1. Create the event in the iPhone app. Name it, add the date and choose how many shots each guest gets. No account needed to start.
  2. Share the QR code (or the 6-character join code). Print it on a sign, put it on the tables, drop the link in the group chat.
  3. Guests scan and shoot. The camera opens in their browser: nothing to install, no account. iPhone users can also use the app.
  4. Everything lands in one live album you control: delete anything, and download the whole album as a ZIP.

Set up the graduation album

Free for up to 10 guests. Create it, print the QR, tape it to the front door.

Questions people ask

Do guests need to download an app?

No. The camera opens in the phone’s browser and there is no account to create. Guests with an iPhone can use the AllShots app if they prefer.

Can guests add photos from the graduation ceremony?

Yes, if you choose Gallery & preview when you create the event. Guests can then upload from their camera roll as well as take new photos.

What if a grandparent can’t scan the QR code?

They can type the 6-character event code at allshots.app/app. It is printed next to the QR on the sign.

How long are the photos kept?

On the free plan they are deleted 7 days after the first upload, and the AllShots app sends a reminder 24 hours before. Paid plans have no automatic deletion. You can download the whole album as a ZIP on every plan.
